Are classes beginner friendly?
All of our classes are designed to be beginner-friendly while still offering a rewarding experience for more advanced students. We intentionally keep class sizes small, typically between 8–12 students, to provide a more personalized and supportive learning environment. This allows us to offer hands-on guidance to those who need additional assistance while giving experienced students the creative freedom to refine their skills and explore new techniques and tools with confidence.
What is included in class?

All class materials are included, including supplies, tools, cake, and refreshments. Simply bring yourself and a light sweater or sweatshirt, as the space is kept cool for buttercream stability.

Can I take photos and videos during class?

Yes — guests are welcome to take photos, videos, and notes during class for personal reference and learning purposes. We kindly ask that all class content and materials remain for personal use only.
Most classes are held at my home in Murrieta, CA in an intimate small-group setting. Select workshops may occasionally take place at alternate locations throughout the Murrieta and Temecula area, which will be noted within the individual class listing.

Where are classes held?
What is your cancellation/refund policy for classes?

Due to the limited class sizes and preparation required for each workshop, all class bookings are non-refundable. Your reserved seat secures materials, supplies, and scheduling specifically for you.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person or request a one-time transfer to a future class when notice is provided at least 7 days before the scheduled class date. Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Can private parties or team-building events be booked?

Yes — private workshops, team-building events, parties, and group experiences are available. Our home studio in Murrieta, CA can accommodate up to 12 guests. For larger groups, clients are welcome to secure an off-site venue, and we can travel to host the workshop at your location. Venue rental costs and arrangements for off-site events are the responsibility of the client. If interested, sign up here
Street parking is available for class attendees. Guests are also welcome to arrange drop-off and pickup if preferred.

Do you offer certificates or advanced workshops?

Yes — we offer professional workshops focused on elevated cake artistry, floral buttercream techniques, structure, and professional decorating skills. Certificates of completion will be provided for all professional series workshops as well as private lessons. Explore them here to sign up
Can dietary accommodations be made for classes?

We are happy to accommodate select dietary restrictions whenever possible. In some cases, a decorative “dummy cake” option may be provided so guests can still fully participate in the decorating experience. Please note that all products are prepared in a kitchen that regularly handles common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts, and therefore we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination.
Are children allowed in classes?

Unless otherwise noted (Mommy & Me workshops, Father's Day workshops), all workshops and classes are intended for adults ages 18 and older. This policy helps us maintain a focused, comfortable, and appropriately paced learning environment for all attendees. Select specialty classes or youth workshops may occasionally be offered and will be clearly noted within the class listing. For those classes, parents are to be present with their child at all times with a signed disclosure/waiver.
What happens if a class is canceled?

If a class is canceled by the instructor, students will have the option to receive either a full refund or a transfer credit toward another class of equal value.
Do you offer private one-on-one lessons?

Yes — private one-on-one lessons are available on a limited basis as scheduling allows. These sessions are customized to the student’s skill level, goals, and areas of interest for a more personalized learning experience. Sign up here
