In this hands-on, 2-day course, you will learn both the fundamentals of cake building and the art of vintage-style decorating. This class is designed to give you a complete foundation, from creating a stable, clean structure to finishing with polished piping and floral details, all for a bundled price ($170 off).

Date: April 18 & 19th, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Class highlights include:

Day 1:

  • How to properly level & torte cake layers

  • Fill ratios to prevent bulging

  • When and why to use buttercream dams

  • How to stack layers evenly

  • Crumb coating, final coating, and straight edging a cake.

  • How to properly use dowels for safe transport on tiered cakes

  • How to stack tiers.

Day 2:

  • How to pipe basic sell boarders, swags, and decorative accents.

  • How to pipe simple buttercream flowers, including daisies and possibly 2 others as time permits.

  • How to map out your design for a cohesive look.

  • How to create a soft, 3-toned color palette

  • Techniques for achieving clean, vintage-style finishes.
